چکیده

The discovery of antibiotics has always been a medical advance that improved the prognosis infections. However, resistance to these products evolved into major health problem. Some diseases are even resistant all currently available on market. A reduction in use must be based other approaches, namely alternative treatments antibiotics, such as phytotherapy. In same objective our study focused research antibacterial power Olea Europaea known for its various medicinal properties. 31 bacterial strains were tested their susceptibility using agar diffusion method, and we determined MIC by micro titration technique microplates. Five bacteria belonged American collection (ATCC) 26 isolated from nosocomial infections between period 2011 2015. We noticed aqueous, methanolic, ethanolic ethyl acetate extracts active against bacteria. On hand, observed hexane dichloromethane showed no inhibition effect tested. methanolic extract higher ESBL enterobacteria (E. coli, E. cloacae, P. mirabilis) imipenem-resistant A. baumanii. lowest was 1.56 ug / ml.
